To participate in the CalTeach- SMI Peer Mentor Program, you must be a CalTeach-SMI student participant.  To submit your interest to participate in the peer mentor program, please complete this form.  

What CalTeach-SMI Mentees can expect as a participant in the program:

• Assigned to a near-peer who is in the CalTeach-SMI program to share knowledge skills, experiences, and support.
• Establish regular check-in sessions - meet at least once a quarter for 30-minute sessions.  More peer meetings can be established as needed.
• Attend at least one (1) SMI sponsored workshop or seminar per quarter.
• Optional, but highly encouraged - Participate in pre-teaching professional organizations (i.e. TTSM) and/or STEM outreach activities.
